As mentioned, they are still working on it.
Not sure why it takes so long to get a shotgun in the market after the concept is started. Ruger has always had issues with that.
I think the Red Label was begun about 1969 or maybe earlier.

Re: SERIOUS COLLECTION OF OM RUGERS
The one gun that I was kind of disappointed in which didn't show up on John's list was an absolutely NIB LWAC serial number 204948 that I sold him, no chips on the cylinder and thus probably never turned. Later heard somebody had the box for it, but no gun. Was surprised John didn't keep that one as...

Re: Attention Ruger 10/22 Collectors
Davidson's actually did that color. its called Davidson's camo with the black and red digital. That is definitely a prototype on auction though as the Davidson's gun had the rear sight style of the compact model and a Hi Viz front sight. Don't remember if the Davidson's gun had a red/black digital b...

Re: Ruger Pump Shotgun
Unfortunately, there weren't any pictures taken of that shotgun. An RENE member was at the show that year and walked by the Ruger booth before the crowd came in and noticed they had a pump shotgun on their display. It was like a Model 12 with a dustcover over the ejection port. Before the doors were...

Re: The last LWAC made?
November 1957???? I wonder if Ruger messed up on your letter? The wear on the gun is about even with that of the cylinder, I'm thinking that alloy cylinder was shipped with that gun... of course anything is possible. Also... I would think if somebody was going to change cylinders on a Lightweight, t...

Re: What's up with RCA?
Yes, they still put out journals, but not sure how often.
The last time I spoke with John Dougan he said he was working on an RSSE article for the RCA Journal.
