Interesting info on my old model .30 Carbine
Got my letter from Ruger today. My recently acquired old model Blackhawk .30 Carbine was shipped in Jan of 1971 to Hodgdon! Raises more questions than it answers. I wonder if they used it for load development, or if they had a retail store, or what?

Pretty sure they have always been in the white cardboard boxes. I know when they first came out they where, as I was working in a gun shop when they came out. Can't say what they come in now.
