New wood for a #3
I'm after a wood refresh on my #3, thing is none of the vendors in the USA will export, is this a sanction applied by the federal authorities, or is it just plumb awkward?

Re: Ruger #1 and #3 model numbers.
They won't be on for much longer, when the lockdown finishes, it's going to my local smith to be screwcut for a silencer. Same with the #3.

Re: Ruger #1 and #3 model numbers.
Thanks Chet, I thought it may have given some idea about my #1, was it a 1a, 1b, 1s or 1v or w.h.y.

Re: Hello from Dover UK
Actually I screwed up on the cartridge, it's an 8 x 68S. This link is t the vihtavuori data page https://www.vihtavuori.com/reloading-da ... tridge=100
It's actually far to powerful for my requirement so I passed on it.
Many thanks for all the comments btw.

Ruger #1 and #3 model numbers.
I have a #1 model number is 01385 and a #3 with the model number 01352.
To what do these numbers refer, ie is there a descriptor of some kind?
