Re: New grips for an old flat top.

I agree. Chad makes some beautiful grips. I had him make up these Hackberry in XR3-RED recently.

Re: LINDA in Ruger records

I asked Taryn to pick up a "Retirement" card which I plan to send to the records address Attn: Linda Deprofio with a check made out to her to celebrate her retirement and show her how thankful I am regarding her service at Ruger to all of us crazy Ruger hoarders.

Re: Display cases sold at Tulsa ROCS Auction

I cannot believe I left out the one that started it all yesterday. The last know produced 10" 44 flat top needed a spot to call home. Taryn has issues with the top on this one, so she plans to replace it with a nice walnut frame and museum quality glass. We have had a lot of "Discussion&qu...

Troy's list of extra Rugers

I went through and pulled out a few of my extras and instead of posting pictures of all of them I'm just going to throw up the list. I'm home all weekend, Dec 12-14, and can PM, Text, or email pictures as requested. If you want them emailed or texted, please send me a PM versus posting that informat...

Re: Display cases sold at Tulsa ROCS Auction

Last one, at least for a bit, as Taryn just yelled down the stairs to come up for dinner. The Walnut and Birds Eye Maple just.........WOW. From the imprint, but not formed, base I'm guessing they had an RSS4 or lightweight in this display case. I think the Bearcat fits a little better.

Re: Display cases sold at Tulsa ROCS Auction

As usual I'm running down a rabbit hole, and it appears to be a deep one. One of the other display cases had an imprint in the foam so curiosity got the best of me. After more attempts that I would like to admit to, it appears to have been made for the "Accident" 6.5" Super Blackhawks...

Display cases sold at Tulsa ROCS Auction

We had a donation this year for the ROCS auction of quite a few display boxes. The first couple went for some big dollars and I cannot wait to see what is done with them as I expect at least one of them will result in a display everyone that attends a future display show will get to enjoy. After the...

Custom walnut stocked 10/22

I have posted before about the loose walnut stock I've had hanging around for what feels like an eternity. I finally stumbled across a barreled action to put in it. 80's vintage 10/22 with a Ruger Hammer forged barrel. I had the old Steel Weaver KT-16 hanging out in the safe to put on it.
