Re: Interesting Original Ruger Invoice
Thanks Chet
Yes I have been looking. I found an article by him from the early 70’s where he referenced having 2 243’s one Ruger M77 and one Winchester 70. He doesn't give any detail but it makes me wonder if the gun he mentioned having is this invoiced #634. Im still searching

Interesting Original Ruger Invoice
In my quest for non prefix Model 77’s I ended up with an interesting original factory invoice for a Ruger M77R Serial number 634 sent to Charles Skelton Federal Agent, US Customs, Loredo TX dated 10/29/68
Very Cool. Wonder where this M77 243 may be??????

Re: Model 77 early/rare/unusual
Ken, I own a tang safety M77 in .300 Win. Mag. I have taken 3 Elk in New Mexico with it and and now my college age grandson wants to keep it for his own elk hunt some day! It wears a Leupold LPS scope that was offered in the late 1980s. It is a 30mm tube, 3.5 to 10 variable power and a 45mm objecti...

Model 77 early/rare/unusual
Hi all I had such a great time in Tulsa with my display, I’m exploring the possibility of putting together a Model 77 display for Fall, Tulsa 2025. They have always been my “go to” rifle and of course I have a few. Trying to see if there would be any chance if finding any m77 display worthy rifles, ...

Re: Vintage 1952 514
Very nice! A friend had a T514 with the 2 piece bolt still in the original box. I can't remember if the flat was on the top or bottom. After he died his kids turned it and an early RST4 with black eagle grips into the cops to be destroyed. That is terrible!!! Very disrespectful to his memory, shame...
