Re: Darn Easter Bunny dropping off some goodies

Santa Claus used to bring them as well, add a 2' archery target and you have a fantastic little backyard range that the whole family eventually got into.

Re: American .22 Magnum

T.Hinkley, love the laminated stock! I wasn't even aware of that model being available! Just checked Ruger's website for your rifle, says currently unavailable, but it is waaaaay more money than what I paid for my plastic stock version, almost double. I just use mine to plink, target shoot, and kil...

Re: 44 Box Label ?

Interesting find! I imagine the owners of the penciled serial numbers would be interested in procuring them (I checked, they do not match my flattop).

Re: American .22 Magnum

I was able to find the target version of the American in .22mag with the black laminate stock. It is an absolute joy to shoot:

Re: Ivory Grips

Under Federal law, you can sell your African elephant ivory within your state (intrastate commerce) if you can demonstrate that your ivory was lawfully imported prior to the date that the African elephant was listed in CITES Appendix I (January 18, 1990). This documentation could be in the form of a...

Re: RMEF Millennial

Yes, as mentioned you definitely need the serial number and then punch that into Ruger's serial number lookup page to see if it comes up as a different model number than Ruger's normal base model for that configuration. Chances are, RMEF had up to 40 guns customized for their own purposes, but one ...

Re: RMEF Millennial

Thanks Contender. I forgot to grab the serial number when I was looking at it. I'll be over at the shop sometime this week and will get some more information, also to find out if my smith has been able to get a hold of the owner. I will try to get some pictures too. If the owner is willing to sell i...

flattop44 wrote: Fri Mar 28, 2025 7:55 am Interesting idea. Any ideas/suggestions on what should go on front and back side of the coin?
FT44
IMHO

The ROCS logo on one side would pretty much be a requirement... the other side could be as simple as the Ruger Logo, or the Ruger Logo and some representative firearms.

RMEF Millennial

My gunsmith has a RMEF Millennial Red Label in 12 GA. #11 of 40. I cannot find any information on these, anywhere... Do any of you know anything about them? This particular one has a broken stock, but not sure the owner wants to fix it. Might try to buy it and get the stock replaced.
