I have five extra XR3 grip frames, 2 small G and 3 large G. The trigger slot on all five are between .201 and .205.... I took a pic on the inside of the frame, of the raised area where the front screw goes (in front of the trigger opening) and you can clearly see where the two molds came together. T...

The foundry in Prescott was not casting cylinder frames. That was done in Newport. In Prescott we had many different customers and each had to have a wax mold to make the part that a wax pattern which was used was made to produce the steel or titanium part. Jay, That's a good question. There does not seem (to me) to be any rhyme nor reason where and when they turn up. After Chad pointed out it was Lucian Cary, I called Linda and had the letter redone. Plus found one of his books on ebay, and a pic of him firing a rifle.
