Early Ruger Choke Tubes

Have recently confirmed (with Lee E's help) that the short blued choke tubes that fit the early Red Labels are interchangeable with the early Winchester Winchokes. Ruger went to a longer stainless steel version I believe in 1995.

I remember when a grocery store I used to buy guns in, was closing them out for $127. That was about the end of when grocery stores sold guns too. Damn I'm getting old.

Hard to see the rifle, but is a No. 1 (of course) in .257 Weatherby 27" Douglas barrel.

I'd like to see someone come up with "shooter" type displays. We are pretty much all collectors, and we think like collectors. The average guy at a show looks at our displays and is probably impressed, but is not something he's in to and goes on down the isle. Perhaps if we created differe...

All of the Orvis marked shotguns that I've seen pictures of are just like that. The ones that are not marked "Orvis" have the typical Red Label parts.
