Re: AH Models

Im probably wrong, but I don't think they ever made an AH 338 Federal. If so, would probably be with a 22" barrel. The AH 25-06 and Creedmoor are 24"

Re: Ruger Gold Label - 12Ga/3"/28" - Matching Pair

I think it hurts the value that recoil pads have been added; however, it would hurt more to shoot them with the original hard butt plates.

Re: Ruger #3

The No. 3 in 22 Hornet was very common in 1976 and could be rechambered to .222. The No. 1 was chambered in .222, but was dropped from the catalog in 1970. I'd like to see what the caliber stamp looks like, but I'd bet it is a custom barrel or rechambered gun.

Re: AN IDEA FOR ADDING MEMBERS

Not a bad idea, but probably would be better with more collectable guns.

Re: Idea to encourage new collectors

I wouldn't be opposed to discussing additional categories, but should be either current/discontinued OR long gun/hand gun.

Re: Red Label All Weather Engraved

Dan, The cataloged numbers for all weather shotguns all start with KRLP - I'm guessing the P stands for plastic stock. If you buy a $10 letter from Ruger on the shotgun, they won't give you how many of those were made. It will be exactly what Ron said - just a shipped date and model number. The only...

Re: Red Label All Weather Engraved

There is not much info on these. They were made with 26, 28 and 30 inch barrels. No idea how many were made, but they are fairly rare. The 28" seems to be the most common of them. A word of caution, the gold is incredibly thin and wears off easily. Those are neat shotguns. Hope your friend enjo...
