I agree about the price, mine will stay boxed up with my Brass Frame gun collection. I have several boxed brass frames that were sent to gun smiths all over the country, for assembly to center fire Blackhawks. The retail price at the time was only $20.00!

I suggest that you contact Ruger Records, copy the single sheet of paper, fill out the details that you want and include a $10 check for a factory letter. Be sure to inquire the barrel length when the gun left the factory. Good luck!
