Re: Question on flat gate finish
Well, I was lucky enough to get a nice looking flat gate courtesy of Joey. I may try and polish and reblue the funky looking one. The flatgate doesn’t mess with my fingernail, primarily because my fingers are too big to use a nail! But the tip of my thumb is one solid callous and it hooks that littl...

I love the plum. This Single Six is my most “brilliant”.
However, this .357 is no slouch!

Question on flat gate finish
Currently I have 2 Flatgates. One is a 4 digit and all original, the second is a 5 digit and came with the incorrect ejector rod and a contoured gate. I have since rectified the modifications, but I have a question. The flat gate on the 4 digit is polished and blued. The flat gate that I got for the...

Re: New grips for an old flat top.
Chad makes beautiful grips. I have a few sets myself. I’d show them off but I need to figure out how to post pics here.

Re: LINDA in Ruger records
Just sent off for 2 letters yesterday. I hope they make it. I feel bad for Linda- she was an asset to Ruger. Heck- Charge more per letter, and keep Linda there. I know most of it is computerized, but there’s a couple of times that Linda has researched the “archives” and found stuff that wasn’t in th...

Re: Banned from Ruger forum
Well, Troy- I really can’t add much other than this whole thing has me considering bailing out on RF.com. One of my good buddies just let me know he was cancelling his paid membership and moving over here too. Mine auto-renews on the 21st and I think I’ll kill it before then. So… I think you started...

New here from Southern Oregon
Introductory post… I am here with great thanks to JAYDAWG. Thank you, Jay! I live in Southern Oregon and I’m retired, happily married, and I have more interests than my wallet can handle. Aside from my small accumulation of Rugers that I am trying to grow, I used to have a hot rod shop, with my true...
