They were experimenting with that round from the beginning, according to RENE serial number 30 was chambered in 358 Win. and was in Stan Terhune's collection. Yet it's first appearance in the catalog was 1978 (pic below). Show us some pictures when you get it.

Here's a pic from the 1975 catalog, they offered a .338 Mag. and a .458 Mag. Are you sure it's not one of them?

Does anyone know why there's a cut in the top of some of the yellow and black boxes used between 1979 and 1994? The majority of the ones I've seen have been used as return boxes for old model single-action conversions with a stamp indicating original parts being inside, but I have an early MK-6 that...

Welcome to the forum Kevin. I've had a couple of the Chamber Seal RST6 pistols and you are correct there were 303 made (301 and 2 prototypes).
