Re: NRA special edition takedown

What I know about them is that it was a Davidson's Gallery of Guns offering in 2014 with NRA on the bolt instead of the 50th logo. Has NRA prefixed serial number and Natural Gear camo with high-viz sights an a coyote tan carring case. My understanding is that Davidson's and Ruger both donated $10 to...

Sad news indeed, another bright light missing from the sky. My condolences go out to Judy and his family.

Looking good Jay, that's the definition of what you call rare.

Good call, it's been a while since I had that book out of the bookcase. After looking in Clayton's book it appears he used four of the six prints for reference in the Design and Mechanics section.

Never seen those before, so probably rare.

They were shipped to Kenosha, WI and I got them from Racine, WI, about 20 minutes from each other. It appears they been in the shipping tube since then.

Early No.1 factory cutaway prints #1

I recently picked up a set of 6 cutaway prints of the Ruger No.1. They are 11" × 16 1/2" and came in the original shipping tube postmarked December 1969. First ones of these I've seen. (See Early No.1 factory cutaway prints #2 for other pics)
