Also Troy, you may already know this but Ronnie updated information he had learned since writing the book in 1990 RCA Journals Volume 14 Numbers 3 and 4. The article in No.4 mentions a RSI in .358 Win.

Troy, I see where Ronnie said the 358 was introduced in 75' in small quantities but appears not to be in the catalog. The first and only appearance I've found was in the 1978 catalog, the other year he referenced. Here's a pic from the 1978 catalog.

They were experimenting with that round from the beginning, according to RENE serial number 30 was chambered in 358 Win. and was in Stan Terhune's collection. Yet it's first appearance in the catalog was 1978 (pic below). Show us some pictures when you get it.

Here's a pic from the 1975 catalog, they offered a .338 Mag. and a .458 Mag. Are you sure it's not one of them?
