Re: Foreign Security-Six Instructional Wall Charts
Always good to see folks finding the odd ball Ruger stuff that is out there. That's a good purchase for a Six series collector.

Re: “Sightless” mkiii
Interesting MK III. Any other holes in the barrel and receiver for sights (other than the holes for the rail)? RENE says the "GCL" stands for Government Competition slab side bull barrel, Lipseys issue. I would suspect the B is for Blued. The serial number shows that it was made after 2009...

Re: Reblue or live with it.
Cerakote, if prepped and applied correctly is a very tough, rust resistant coating. About the only way to remove Cerakote is to abrasive blast it off. But that leaves a surface that ready to be reCerakoted. It probably could be polished at that point and reblued but IMO it would take a person that r...

Re: The next shadow box project
A loose head for that lower right corner would look good. The way it is right now a right handed person would think nothing is odd. If you reversed it, a left handed person would not think it is odd. (I'm right handed). Similiar to displaying handguns and even rifles/shotguns, most people think a fi...

Troy, What a great collection of "odd balls" thanks for sharing with us. Oh, I also stay out of the way when my wife is having a yard/garage/whatever sale

Re: Early Transition Boxes for the GA-34
Oh heck, now I have to go look at all my boxes. IIRC, I have several with that paper packing also. Will scrutinize the end labels also. Thanks for posting, gives me something to do if I have nothing else going on.

No one going to ROCS/OGCA???
Have not heard nary a peep from anyone who might be going to the OGCA show on 8-9 August. If you are going and are going to do a display we'd really like to hear from you so we can get everything coordinated. I'd like to hear from you if nothing but what you are going to display and the title of you...

Re: As Cast shelf in the Ruger Curio
Troy, you and Taryn never cease to totally amaze me. You with your collecting abilities and Taryn with her wood working vision/skills. I had a chance to get a cast hanger of Six series frames, but I was new to collecting and stupid me didn't realize the value and let them go to someone else.
