Re: Ruger inscribed Speed Six
I seem to recall that he was THE guy in Hollywood who help teach actors in westerns how to have the proper handling, drawing, shooting, etc. of single actions. I'll need to do a bit more research. That would be a great addition to any DA collection.

Re: Lowback Stainless Security-Six
Bennett, I haven't seen one with that high of a s/n, mine is 151-09505. I was talking to John Dougan yesterday and he seemd to remember, way back when, that a guy did a RCA display with several highly polished stainless Security Sixes but he couldn't remember all the details. Guess I'll need to sear...

Re: RCA JOURNAL
I will be displaying for RCA. From what I was told it will be the first time that the RCA display will be Ruger Double actions. I will have examples of the Security Six series (their first DA's), Redhawks, GP100's, Super Redhawks, SP101's, LCR's and LCRx. This will be the first NRA show that I've ev...

Re: Holster Question
I don't think Ive ever seen one like that from Bianchi and I'd really be afraid of the rivets holding them on might scratch up a gun when unholstering/reholstering.

I believe they stay in the OUT box until the person you are sending it to opens and reads it.

I agree, probably home made, but it's not a bad looking sight.

Re: Sonic cleaners
What SPAS 15 wrote is spot on. His last paragraph is very good, I do the same thing, when I'm done with a very dirty piece is just the dump the fluid from the ultrasonic through a very fine filter into another bottle and just let it sit (good cleaner is not cheap but it works good). A lot of the lef...
