Re: New Member, Central Texas
Unfortunately my wife once heard me say to a shooting buddy (over a cold one or two, have to admit), that all my guns will shoot better than I can shoot them. She immediately chimed in with "buy cheaper guns." So that's why mostly ARMSCOR that I've bought lately. Have to admit they too sho...

Re: New Member, Central Texas
Hi, "O M" unfortunately don't have a Ruger 1911. Have Kimbers, Springfield RO, and several ARMSCOR guns. Variety of Government and Commander models, and variety of chambering: 9, 10, .40, and .45. Was pressed several times to put a .45 into action in Vietnam and always a pleasure when I ta...

Re: New Member, Central Texas
Last two, just for comparison sights on my Standard and the Mark 1. Pistol is a real shooter, this 3" target from 7 yards with no adjustment of the rear sight.
Thank you again! Joe

Re: New Member, Central Texas
Three more, from the rear, and two oblique views.
Hopefully the rear view is detailed enough to show the sight was not attacked by someone with a Dremel tool, too smooth and factory-appearing especially with the radius between the two angles.

Re: New Member, Central Texas
Hello thank you very much for your prompt replies. First time trying to upload pics to a forum, hope it works. Here are left and right views of the front sight. If these work I have a couple of others, oblique views, etc. and will do them. Thank you again, I certainly appreciate any thoughts. Joe
