Re: New grip frame for my Blackhawk. 41

Many thanks for the compliments Cirrhitidae, get out there and get the wind in your hair - you never know what tomorrow brings. That being said I should follow my own advice, I don't get out and run it through the gears as often as I should. If your ever in the neighborhood be a pleasure to take you...

New shoes for my SP101

I recently put some new grips on my .327 Federal SP101. They are made of resin and feel really good in the hand and with the snappy recoil of this round it's more comfortable. I've also got it's big brother, a Lipsey’s GP100 in .327 which is tamer than the shorter barreled SP. One thing for certain ...

Re: New grip frame for my Blackhawk. 41

That is what makes it beautiful and yours. Nothing nicer than making a piece what you want it to be. A lot of my stuff has been adapted into what I like. Is your 67 a 327 or 427? 396 was only in the '65 C2 I used to have a 427 67 but now I'm down to 1 Vette, a '69 convertible with the high performa...

Thanks, I think that finding the right combination of types of wood and various metals make the difference in looks, hey but that's just me.

New grip frame for my Blackhawk. 41

Just got done putting a SS grip frame on my NM Blackhawk 41 Mag. I made a set of grips for it but they just don't work out on the new look, have to make me another set. Got to decide what type of wood to use, maybe Maple like the ones I made for my NM Single-Six in .17. The pics attached are Blackha...

Re: Model 77 thoughts?

No the prices are firm, The fact they are new condition, I just haven't came across any. I bought the 358, working on the 350. As my buddy says... price doesn't matter? Easy to say when your not paying the bill! In '85 I bought my first Ruger, it was an M77 25-06. the most accurate rife I have owne...

Re: Model 77 thoughts?

From what I've seen lately the prices seem to be at about what they are selling for when you find them. The odd calibers always bring a little more money, I don't blame you wanting both. Are the prices negotiate?

Re: Little Help with Old Model Blackhawk

That does appear to be an Super Blackhawk frame, my guess is a previous owner swapped out the frame. Still a very nice SA, congrats on the addition.

Re: A pair of old 257 Roberts

Very nice pair of rifles you have there, the M77's are great bolt actions. I have a small collection of them but they made so many variations I have to be selective.
