Low back Security -Six
My local gun shop has had this gun on consignment for a couple months for $600. I thought that was to high. Yesterday I walked in and they had it at $470 so I bought it....... I don't know how that compares to anywhere else in the world, but it was worth it to me. SN is 150-82698 . I have read that ...

Well sorry..... You guys are stuck with me all weekend. With kids coming from out of state and work schedules I don't get my turkey dinner until Saturday night and it's PISSING rain here in the PNW, so I'm hunkered down in the shop scanning the ROCS forums and figured I'd post some stuff while takin...

Re: "S" mark
Flattop44,
Thanks for the reply
It is a Hawkeye, so therefore it is a proof mark.
Since I don't know what a proof mark is or it's purpose
I will search the archive of the forum for info on proof marks.
If I don't find anything I will post another question.
Cheers,
JAY

"S" mark
My first question for the group. I had seen in price guides that guns with an "S" stamp had a premium but did know what that meant until my first Digest came in the mail last week and I read the article about the #58 Single Six (no dash, so why was there a dash in the text of the article?!...

Hello from the great Northwest
Hi, My name is Jay and I am a new ROCS member. I live in Washington State on the Olympic Peninsula. I like to build 10-22's but in the last year or so the Ruger wheel guns bit me in the ass and are starting to pile up to the point I had to buy another safe! So.......I decided to start learning a bit...
