MY nephew Jimmy called is a "Super Carbine" got me to thinking about a dragoon style, larger grip frame too boot,,,BUT,,,nah someday someone will tell Chad he saw one ;)

. that I had many years ago , and had sold it to a friend locally before I knew Don W would have wanted it, anyway made it through to another friend Dave S, known as 'cherokee' on the forums, Dave passed away a few weeks ago and BKH-31 came home to roost last weekend, well he had our gunsmith friend...

yes, Bobby does awesome work,,,done some for me also...... and to be a bit more precise, its actually case colored, not hardened, that does NOT work well with the metal alloy of 4140 chrome -moly that Ruger uses in their castings,,,,gotta do your homewrok and find out about "complex metals"...

I always used the 'IMG' code before and the medium size...first time this site had ever said it "could not determine size".....wiped out all I had typed up for a guy asking about old model 22 mags......hhhmmm

I believe it was sooner, as when they came out with the one piece fold up yellow and black boxes, they put a slotted cutout for the spare cylinders in the corner of the inside liner, bend it down to fit the cylinder , and in the beginning they were in the red bag, then started using the bubble wrap ...
