the gun at amoskeags had the box and everything. Mine was the same box and all traded it for the non prefix AHS on this forum..

guy on Guns international has a chp overrun today asking 5000

asking prices on no 1s have been ridiculous of late. however no one has bid on this one though.. on the last amoskeag auction a chp overrun sold for 7000

and so now I have 2 of the 3 Ruger commissioned RMEF rifles..this one and the RSI 30-40 krag. So now I need to find the 1 A in 35 whelen

Thought that I would share some interesting information that I received from Ruger on this rifle. According to RENE Reference regarding this model, it states on page 60 that it is not known whether the engraving by Barron Technologies was ordered by the Ruger factory or not... here's the letter stat...

I have an early red label with fixed chokes . the box says ss26 which is for the skeet / skeet 26" barrels.
so my guess would be for screw ins the SIC stands for Screw In Chokes / and barrel length...
