Re: Walter's bedtime story

I didn't look carefully at it when it arrived because I was getting ready for work. It's not a 1st edition but a 5th edition. I am still overwhelmed with Simon's generosity in sending it to me. The ROCS is a great bunch of people and I am honored to know many of you personally.

Walter's bedtime story

In the mail today this book shows up... Our illustrious member from England, SPAS15 sent me a 1st edition copy of "The Problem Fox" by Alexander Sturm. It was a complete surprise and Walter claimed it.

Rod that looks beautiful! There is an old time hardware store near here that has 3 walls filled with cabinets like those. They would make a great display area. I am slowly working on an area for my stuff as well but it takes money and time.

Re: Target Pistol/Cost

Heck I'll pay 2 bucks more! When that was written Colt and High Standard ruled the .22 pistol world. Along comes this little company with used equipment and starts to make pistols from 2 sheet metal stampings, a piece of tubing, 2 pieces of simply machined bar stock, a few die-cast parts A few small...

Re: Magnificent Mk. II

The "lowly" .22 is often overlooked by many as a very good caliber. And there are several makers, models & designs that fit so many of us,, that it's often a marvel of modern manufacturing. Looks like you have a few of those very things. Pure pleasure & perfect for most applicatio...
