Hog Hunt from Years Ago

Post by ElNumeroUno »

ROCS members Terry Wolosek, "Bubba" Bright and I went on a Hog Hunt in South Texas several years ago. It was March and rattlesnakes were just coming out of their dens. We found several; all of us shooting Ruger handguns. Our Potato Farmer from Wisconsin was pretty impressed with rattlesnakes. We got 3, but no hogs!

Here is one I got with an early 357 Blackhawk. We used the machete to chop their heads off afterwards. Nobody wanted to get bitten by a "dead" rattlesnake!

Great pictures Lee looks like a fun time, I like rattlesnakes dead and headless are the best.

Just the way I like to see snakes. 100% rehabilitated! Some nice hatbands there too if you know how to make them
Some people sit on $.05 of knowledge like it is the treasure of Egypt. I will teach anyone $.10 worth just to prove a point...
