Texas Mule Deer
Used a 1V in 6.5-284 Norma to take this Mule deer in Marathon, Texas last week. Hopefully, the whole hunt story will appear in a future ROCS digest.

A mule deer is the last thing on my list to hunt. I put in every year for the public hunts in TX but no luck so far getting a permit.

Tom & I just sent in our deposit for next December. Hope all the rain out there in West Texas lately will grow some horns. Going just before Christmas. Hoping to have the 2015 257 Weatherbys in hand by then.

Has anyone heard for sure the list of calibers and configurations of No.1 rifles being sold by Lipseys? I am in need of the .44 Magnum for Ohio white tail deer season! Brass Frame/Lee
