TULSA GUN SHOW IS CANCLLED as of today!!

Post by flattop44 »

I talked to the folks running the Tulsa Show this morning and the show has been cancelled. Its a bummer, sure was looking forward to seeing everyone. Below is posted on their website.

NOVEMBER 9 , 2020: We sincerely regret to inform you that we must cancel the show. Oklahoma's Covid-19 cases have more than quadrupled from approximately 1100 cases a day on Nov. 3 to 2000 cases on Nov. 5 to over 4,500 cases Saturday Nov. 7. Due to the dramatic increase in numbers, the Health Department now strongly recommends 25% capacity and 100% enforced mask covering. Taking into account the fairground's formula for square feet per attendee, our number of exhibitors and the square footage taken by all the tables, there is no room left for spectators. We know this is not the news you want to hear, nor is it the news we wanted to give you. We sincerely intended and hoped we could have this show, but due to the new restrictions, it is not possible. We know this has inconvenienced many of you, and we apologize for this late cancelation.

Exhibitors: Your reservation and money will automatically be applied to the next show. If you prefer refund, please contact our office 918-492-0401.

Stay safe, Stay healthy. We hope to see everyone April 10 & 11, 2021

Sent my display table money this morning. Jackie and I will see all our fine friends there.

Are most going to stay at the Embassy Suites like the last time? Do we reference the Tulsa Gun Show for special room rates or is ROCS going to try to set something up. Guess I need to call the hotel pretty quickly.

It's short notice but are we going to have a ROCS banquet, etc.?

ROCS has a special room rate at the Embasdy so be sure to ask for it. Sorry to say that we will not be able to have a banquet. The hotel caterer can not set up a buffet due to COVID19. But we will still have a great time. Looking forward to seeing you and Jackie.

Took a look at Tulsa's mask mandate and it looks like masks will be required like about all public attended venues. So bring a comfortable one with you. It won't be long before we are "Living on Tulsa time".
See everyone there, Bill
