Wanted to get good exposure so didn't want to put this in the DA section.

I may have a line on a stainless .41 Mag Redhawk, 7.5" . I'm going to PM the guy to see if he would ship. Right now he is asking $600 but he's 3 hours away from me. Once I get an answer I'll post in case anyone is interested. I'm just not sure if I want to get into a new caliber - but is it a double action :D

Seems like a right fair price Ron. Maybe even a GOOD price if it has the scope ring cut-outs and the rings!

You'll LOVE the .41 Magnum! Super caliber for whitetail deer and I'm thinking there's a few of those in PA.

Ron,
As you know I started to collect the 41mag Redhawks and Super Redhawks. I would be interested in it, especially around that $600.00 price. There are several different types of 41 Redhawks so you ,I, would need more info.

There is a Blued RH41 (7.5" barrel) and the RH41R, the hunter model with scope ring cut outs on the barrel. also, KRH 41 (stainless) also a KRH41R which is the Hunter Model with the scope ring cut outs.

I have all of them except the RH41, so if it is that one I would like it. Especial if he still had the box(s), and paper work.

Vince,
I thought it was you who were/is looking for the 41 mag Redhawks. I sent the guy a message to send me pictures of the gun and the box but he hasn't replied yet. I do know it is a 7.5" Stainless and he said it was an older model so I'm guessing it's a KRH-41 but won't be sure until he send the pictures or a complete description.

Once I know I'll let you know and if you need it I'll defer to you otherwise I'll probably get it to add to my meager Redhawk condition :D .

I guess I forgot to post that I got a 7.5" blued .44 Mag Redhawk dated 1998 with the optional barrel with the cutouts for a scope complete with the rings and the box. The box is marked RH-44R and the model # is 5013. It is probably easily 95-98% and got it for a good price. He was in a hurry to sell it to get the money to buy a Freedom Arms .41 Special, so I lucked out. Then I made $20 doing the transfer of the FA to him when it arrived.

Ron,

If it is a stainless steel gun I don't need it, I have one. But it is a great price. A NIB or LNIB with papers can sell for $800.00 to $900.00. The stainless steel a little less.

But from what you said I will tell you that he has the wrong box for the gun. I believe RH44-2 indicates a blued Redhawk in 44mag. caliber with a 2.5" barrel. I am not up on the 44mag but I don't believe they made a 2.5" blued Redhawk.

The proper model number for a blued Redhawk in 41mag. caliber is RH41 and the Hunter is RH41R. ( the 5.5" gun is model RH415) When they (Ruger) were making them, in the late 80's, they did not use (have) the 5 digit numerical model number in use, to my knowledge.

Vince,
I made a typo when I put in the number of the box - the 44 Redhawk I bought is marked RH-44R on the box, not RH44-2 (my fingers had a mind of their own I guess  )

Sent the guy 2 messages yesterday and he hasn't replied yet so I don't know what is going on. He's had this for sale since late July and offered to do the sale here at my place if I helped wit gas money and I told him how much I will give him (I offered what I would charge a customer to ship it).
