VERY RARE "CASEHARDENED" RUGER 1911 UP FOR AUCTION

Post by flattop44 »

This is a very rare Ruger 1911 .45 ACP up for auction. Sturm Ruger Co. very generously donated this great pistol to ROCS for auction to generate some club funds. It is labeled on the box end as an "Engineering Sample" but none were ever produced by the factory. It is a fine looking pistol. Sumit your bids below with your name and amount that you are willing to pay. Bid increments are $100. If you Win we will notify you by a PM.

Good luck!!

No, don't think the barrel is threaded. Stickey just keeps it at the top of the Forum that it's posted in. To bid just Reply to this post and post your bid of XXXX$s.

Bill,
Do you have gun in hand?
Why does the barrel extend past the slide?
Normally that is a thread protector....

I'm not Bill but if you look at the first picture you will see it has a chamber flag in it, that is why the front of the barrel can be seen.
