4 Long Gun Limit
A polular discussion on the web, what would you choose...... My circumstanes: rural cabin going up as we speak, Contractor buiding 4 long gun safe into wall, do have nuciene moose, and grizzleys in region, moose the worst offendders, 375 RUGER, 30-06, 12 ga auto, 10/22semi. Do not want to bust any critter, but I got pups and a wife, never know.

Rocdoc, That's a great combination. You've got your heavy hitters with the 375 and 12 GA. You have versatility with the 12 GA and 10/22. You've got more range with the 30-06 on the heavier game. If you can justify a sidearm to the long gun mix I'd think about a .44 or 10mm, heck even another .22lr on your hip or chest would be great if you want to keep your ammunition types minimal.
