Hi Bennett, do you know what magazine that ad was in? It looks different than the ad I have. Always fun to get the magazine with early reference to a gun.

Then if I could find an article on the gun... probably not.

Thanks,
TomD

I remember seeing it in more than 1 magazine. Not sure if there was a dedicated article on that particular gun being that it was sold by a secondary source. It might be interesting to see how many different magazines from the 1989-1990 time period had ads for this pistol in them. I would love to see one in person. I drooled on the ad because with a young family owning one was impossible...

Tom, I found one of the ads with order form in April 1990 Guns & Ammo (Volume 34, No. 4) on page 5.

The ad was also in American Handgunner July/August 1990 on page 9. There is an ad for the 40th anniversary on ebay if you are interested. I believe it is from Guns and Ammo

The 40th was a limited edition of 950 offered by The American Historical Foundation, here's a link to their website. https://www.ahffirearms.com/
They do not show any reference to it on the sight but you can contact them and see what information they might have on it.
