Rare gun alert!!

Post by chet15 »

One that got by us!!!
Last year The Shootists had a 35th Anniversary gun made in a stainless .327 Single-Six with 4-5/8" barrel and Bisley grip frame. There were 100 made and they had their own serial number sequence of SH35-001 through SH35-100.

Apparently, Ruger had an overrun of 40 guns and the distributor had Ruger turn them into a 7-1/2" stainless Bisley .327. These are numbered SH35-101 through SH35-140 and are Ruger model 8167. They were sold out in April 2020! Where did they go??? Need to see pics of one!!!

I remember reading an article on those someplace but cant recall where. It refreshed my interest in Bisley framed revolvers. Didn't Tyler do the work?

Here you go!! Many of you know I really like the #10 serial number Rugers so this is the closest I could get in this special 35th Ann. issue.

Glad you got one Bill! Didn't realize any collectors managed to get one.

Really lucky, all were almost gone when I found out about them from a Shootist friend of mine.
