Duh. I see that now, stainless frame and looking at them on phone threw me.

Final update on this.
Went back to the original grip frame and ordered a set of black laminates (88) from ShopRuger. They sent me a pair that were not finished - shaped but dull black. Instead of sending them back I decided to take a shot at finishing them myself. Used some 320 grit to knock down and blend the sharp edges behind the trigger guard. Took out striations and contour lines with 400 grit and 4-0 steel wool created a really smooth surface. Shined'em up with my hand-rubbed BLO treatment.
The emblems are a little funky but they fill the hand nicely and are the look I wanted. Couple photos:
