NEEDLE IN A HAYSTACK

Post by T.A. Workman »

I got very lucky and found a S47N .44 Mag. built on a S4440 Convertible frame. Serial #87-01222 and have verified by phone
with Ruger Records that it is one of the 50 extra convertible frames.
Note ser. #87-01219 is the highest reported S4440 revolver, this gun is 3 guns above it which narrows down the 50 extra frame range.

Good for you.......again!
Also glad to see I'm not the only one who uses highlighter in RENE for what I have!

Cheers,

Terry, that's a great addition to your collection, very cool when these oddballs show up, especially in that condition. Thanks for sharing.
