? For the STAUNCH Ruger DA people

Post by RoninPA »

For you die hard Ruger double action guys - If you had the chance to pick up a never fired LNIB Ruger NM .357 Maximum (BNM-7), 7 1/2" barrel, s/n 600-0929X (dates it to 1984), would you?? Why or why not.??

I have the opportunity, just mulling it over right now.

Obviously you get the chance and if its NOT "stupid" money you get it, can always use it for trade bait for something else that YOU are interested. The chances do not come along that often, so one must take the chance, heck I'm getting a mint Buckeye this weekend in 32-20/32 H&R mag. its a "chance", price is fair and I can and will swap it off. 8-) ;)

Ron,

I have been interested in the Maximum and if the right opportunity presented itself I would strongly consider it. That said, I have a few other DA’s that I am targeting that would take precedence.

Good luck!

Thanks for the inputs, I am now the next caretaker of this fine Ruger. I'll have it with me at the OGCA show in July for people to look at (not in a exhibit - yet - just to show that a DA guy can find good SA deals when they bite him in the a** :D )
