Bolo tie

Post by Deadend »

Did Ruger ever authorize a bolo tie? I'm down to the odd & ends of cleaning an estate of a Ruger collector and exhibitor and some of the "smalls" I'm not familiar with. This is a really nice bolo tie, the medallion is very nice and the string is of braided leather.
Any info would be appreciated.

Yes they did, they were made by Montana Silversmith along with other items such as pocket watches.
I value the Bolo tie at $100.00 - $150.00 & the watch's @ $100.00 - $250.00. Nice piece!!

That bolo may not be Montana Silversmith(which are hall marked on the reverse) It may be one of Jerry Wilson's creations...........All of which were quite expensive........ 8-)
