The problem fox statuettes

Post by rpm enterprises »

Today another pup joined the litter Today. I never thought it would be possible but I've managed to aquire a statuette for all 7 of the characters in the Sturm book The Problem Fox. As you recall August was the main character and was listed as distinguished while another was proud and another being aggressive while the others were just plain lazy. Along with the seven metal foxes I have the actual clay statuette made by Mr. Sturm. The books themselves there were actually 3 variations. The one on the left is extremely rare with only a couple known. The book on the right has two variations. Ironically there are 7 printings of the book. The first print will have a green spine with a A on the preface page. The second print has no dates. Then it goes third to sixth printings. Most will say the book only has six printings but there is a mystery book out there and I will disclose that when I write a article about the problem fox.

Rick,
That is an outstanding accomplishment!
I know how hard you have pursued these Fox statuettes and all things Sturm related over the years. I also know that in your
library you have at least one or more books for each Fox! ;) I look forward to your coming article on them.
Beautiful pictures also.
