Customer brought this into the shop to see if I would sell it for him. Asked him how much, and after he told me I bought it on the spot.
Colt Frontier Scout, .22LR only, Q suffix s/n (dates 1958). I would put it at 90% - normal wear on the muzzle and cylinder for a 62 year old gun. Bore and chambers are excellent to damn near factory condition. Grips (as you can see) show next to no wear.
This matches a F suffix Frontier Scout from 1958 that my Dad gave to me.

Ron, that is a nice one,,,see you ARE getting old...them single actions bring back many memories, I thought I was shooting one like the one pictured back then 1958 or maybe it was 59 at a Boy Scout camp in New York...........turned out to be a Ruger LW tricolor!!!! will never forget that from back then...
some day I'll show you my COlt Single action army from 1956 in .38 special........

Very nice Ron! You will need a bigger S/A display case on the shop wall. I saw 2 there when I visited a few years ago and it sounds like the collection has grown.
Some people sit on $.05 of knowledge like it is the treasure of Egypt. I will teach anyone $.10 worth just to prove a point...
