Greetings from Eastern Idaho

Post by twriggen »

I guess I'm slow to post as a new member as I've been a lurker for a while now and just joined in the last month or two. All things XR3 is my area of preference but that hasn't stopped me from picking up multiple other Rugers to add to the horde. I have the same user name here as I have used on other gun forum sites and I notice more than a few familiar handles. I'm hoping to make my first pilgrimage to Tulsa this year but I don't expect to have a display yet. I had the great fortune of meeting Mike and Steve in Ogden a few weekends ago at the UGCA and drooled over their displays. I can only hope to someday have a display like those two put together.

Welcome aboard Troy, happy that you have joined us. Looking forward to meeting you in Tulsa this November. But as Contender said, we would love to have you come to the ROCS display show at the OGCA next month too. Again, welcome.

It looks like the Embassy in Tulsa is already booked to capacity that weekend. Any suggestions on something nearby and preferably in walking distance?

I advise you to call now and make your reservation, rooms in Tulsa fill up fast. You can always cancel if you can not make it to the show.

Hi Troy,
We just rolled through Idaho Falls yesterday, coming back from Yellowstone. I thought about giving you a ring but had out of State company on board.
Welcome to ROCS, the collectors den!
I am already working on my Tulsa display, maybe between now and then we can think of a joint display on a second table? Let the fun begin...
