Greetings from Vienna … part II

Post by Dobi »

Hello @all

I followed Markus aka @RugerfanAustria here and I am very happy to be on board!
I have been shooting for about 3 years and currently own a Ruger MK IV 22/25 lite, a Manurhin MR88 3'' in .38 spec (which is based on a Ruger Service Six revolver frame and lock) and a Steyr L9-A1.
A few months ago, thanks to Markus and with his great help and support, I also started reloading .38 spec.

With best regards Michael

PS.: My nick is an abbreviation of my family name, which has accompanied me since my youth ...

Welcome aboard Michael, happy to hear Markus is spreading the word about ROCS and our website. Getting into reloading your own is a lot of fun and satisfying hobby. Again, happy that you have joined us.

thank you, bill! yes, markus aka @RugerfanAustria has already helped me a lot, so also this time with his hint.
And thanks to his tips and experience, getting started with reloading was much easier and cheaper than I thought!
And of course I am very happy to have been accepted here in this honorable round!

Welcome Dobi.
The air in this forum is really refreshing without 'radical' Glock fanboys who believe that only Glock is the best, like in our homeland.

I'm right there with you! there are two things that are guaranteed not to come into my house: a Glock or a S&W ;-)
The only exception: A Glock 78 field knife …

Welcome Michael,
I left Germany some 38 years ago. Did not know you guys next door can have guns and even reload. Glad to hear that. There is a great group of people on this forum, if we can be of help....fire away. I reloaded 38 Spl for many years, shooting cowboy action. It's an easy round to load. Mike

Our weapons law is even more liberal than that in Germany. With the permission to own a weapon you can purchase any powder without a special course as in Germany only.
