Am I seeing things ?

Post by 67stingray »

Someones lost their mind, I don't think it's me. Look at the bidding war on this set of grips. https://www.gunbroker.com/item/898526415

Wow, just plain WOW, those are just standard, factory high back model grips, nothing worth $265.00 - maybe I need to list mine, wonder what a NOS pair of the factory oversize grips would bring - $500???

I will bet you the winner backs out of the deal.

I saw the bidders numbers also and I figured the same thing, the winner will end up being a NPB (Non Paying Bidder) and should be severely thumped if not kicked off GB.

That's why I stay off that sight unfair runup bids from some one in their clan bidding you up, I've had it happen to me.
And the last minute to the second hovering to knock you out so their is no way to win bid .
Frustrating and unfair.

The only way to “win” any auction is to pay more than everyone else is willing to give for that item.

Why that’s called “win” is beyond me but …. To each their own. LOL.

I just enter the maximum amount I think the item is worth and walk away. They’ll notify me if I’m the high bidder.
