Although these are official measurements by the Austrian authorities according to CIP, please be careful as different batches of powder, detonator and possibly bullet behave differently. Every reloader acts independently.
These measurement protocols are only intended to provide an overview.
I know the pictures are not good but I will submit better ones soon.
Not quite. The authority normally wants 6 cartridges for a measurement, which is related to the cartridge testing regulations. The first cartridge is used to warm up the measurement run and the following 5 are included in the evaluation. Sometimes, however, an incorrect measurement happens so that only 4 cartridges are counted. In the test rules for the statistics, the lowest value for K1n is 5.75 for 5 measurements. If more cartridges are measured, the factor K1n is lower. If the sum of the mean max gas pressure + the standard deviation * K1n is less than 1.15 * pmax, the cartridges are considered safe.
