30-06 - 100 years old

Post by d findley »

The 30-06 turned 100 in 2006. To commemorate the milestone Ruger offered 500 special Number one Rifles to mark the event. The original was designed and hand engraved by Master engraver Paul Lantuch. It sold ( 2006) at auction for just short of $10,000.00.

The production run of these was interesting to me, I stupidly declined a trade of my 2 unwanted rifles for one of these, been kicking my self for a while.
