Original Ruger Flyer

Post by d findley »

I picked this sheet up at an NRA show at Ruger's booth. I believe it was 1987. Ruger never produced or marketed this pistol.

I wish they had produced these, never knew these were considered, I became interested in the 17M2 long too late.

Probably a wise move. The .17MK2 never caught on, at least not around here. We havent had any ammo for it in stock in over a year, can't get it. Those people with guns chambered in it are kind of left out to dry so to speak. Can't reload for it, so if you can't find ammo you have an expensive paperweight.
