Found the 3rd known GP-100 prototype with an 880- prefix, #880-00009. Number 880-00003 is owned by another forum member and 880-00021 has been reported but where its at is any ones guess. I would love to see a picture of that gun.
I posted this over on the Ruger forum and thought I would post here and add a couple of different pictures if I can get them to fit. Neat Gun!

Well I'll leave the pic's up...but still cuts out about a 1/3 of the image,

I actually like how the hammer, trigger, ejector rod and cylinder release are SS and contrast nicely with the blue.

I bought it off GB from a dealer in R.I.flattop44 wrote:Man, what a great find! Thanks for sharing this one with us. Where in the world did you find it?

He bought it from a guy who was selling a few guns from his collection. I know the previous owners last name and hope to make contact with him to find out where he obtained the revolver.

What a coup! Glad for you. I'd bet this was simply put into inventory and sold out.............ala the semi(or more!) trailer load(s) sent to Davidsons' three or so years ago, of all the low number and splintered inventory that the bean counters told senior mgmt. were a financial liability to the business! *(rather than an asset!) I was fortunate to get but one SN 27 gun out of that mess......missed another six of them. Won't say more at this time.... Mike Fifer has never replied to my comments about that very stupid set of actions.......
