Couple of Early Flatgates

Post by JussBad »

Picked up 2 early 3 digit Flatgate packages. These came from a gentleman that has had these for 35+ years tucked in the safe. One is wearing what I believe are Factory Ruger Ivory and the other is wearing real ivory however the medallion placement is different than what is believed to be the "correct" position. Both guns boxed with manual/warranty and early disclaimer (one disclaimer appears to be a copy -just my opinion) - Both guns have copper showing through the bluing with some streaks and really have to be seen in person to get the real effect...Real nice pair in my opinion. I will start another post (hopefully not open the "can of worms" so to speak) regarding ivory grips and medallion placement. With that said here are some new additions to my safe.
