Ruger engine hoist question

Post by contender »

I've seen a reference to a Ruger engine hoist for a shop. The name plate says Ruger Cleveland Ohio.

Anybody got any REAL info on it? Did Bill Ruger have another subsidiary company that built these?

The company that makes the Ruger named engine hoists is completely unrelated to the Ruger Firearms company.
And that's a good thing! Would be pretty awkward getting an engine hoist somewhere in your Ruger display.

As said many times before when dealing with Rugers, "Never say never" :D :D :D I would not bet against someone who had one (if it would have actually been made by a Bill Ruger company) that they couldn't figure a way to work it into a display (even including firearms). Ruger owners are pretty resourceful people.

Well, from what I've seen,, I don't think it's actually related to the Sturm, Ruger & Co. Too many things don't mesh.

But,, If I were to get one,, I'd figure out a way to put it & my other tools in a display. :D :o :D 8-)
