I just learned that Bill Jr. retired and closed the shop in July. He was helpful in my search for info on a M96 factory Sporter. So sad that this long-time Ruger institution has shut it's doors. I hope someone is conserving whatever records remain. Just bought a spectacular tiger stripe M96 with Bill Ruger provenance from Peter Mans, who is a friend of the Rodeschin family and will reach out to Bill Jr. for me. More on the gun later. Wait til you see it!!!
