ROCS challenge coin ?

Post by JMV375 »

I am new member - so wondering if ROCS has ever produced or is thinking of producing /issuing a challenge coin for members ?
I am from law enforcement background and challenge coins are a neat item to trade or swap
and display.

The Smith & Wesson Collectors Association began issuing challenge coins for its annual meetings beginning in 2013. They are quite popular with our members. Symbol Arts does and excellent job of designing and manufacturing the coins. Their website is www.symbolarts.com

Interesting idea. Any ideas/suggestions on what should go on front and back side of the coin?

IMHO

The ROCS logo on one side would pretty much be a requirement... the other side could be as simple as the Ruger Logo, or the Ruger Logo and some representative firearms.

An RST Pistol image with initials W.B.R., on top and the date 1949 on the bottom / ROCS with founding date.

I think annual coins issued with a different iconic Ruger firearm on one side would make them highly collectible.
