Since this is your first; just in case you haven't heard this-DON'T STORE IT IN THE MAHOGANY BOX! Just a tip. Lot's have learned the hard way. They rust-must be something in the cloth.

Thanks guys. I learned from reading here that the box is NOT the place to store these guns. I've saved this one just in time. The barrel has some minor marks on it from laying on the felt. I keep the box and gun stored separately.
I thought the grips were odd. The color difference in person isn't as bad as the pics make it look. However, one is pretty plain-Jane while one is very nicely figured; and darker. I'm sure somebody some place has the "opposite" set.
The man I bought this gun from said he purchased it from a co-worker in the early 70's.
