Re: One Millionth Auto
Is this in private hands, or in the Ruger factory collection? If in the factory collection, is it likely to be auctioned some day?
Re: One Millionth Auto
It was sold at auction for $27,200.00 to Penguin Industries. It was later donated to the National Firearms Museum.

That is a beauty! I have an article from 1980 showing it in one of my old books. The engraving is fantastic to say the least
Some people sit on $.05 of knowledge like it is the treasure of Egypt. I will teach anyone $.10 worth just to prove a point...

I think it interesting that Ruger also made pistols 1000001 though 1000004.
Their "bling" is vasty different than the 1,000,000th auto.
Wondering if a few execs of the company also wanted examples for themselves.
