Ruger RSSE, "The End"!!
Re: Ruger RSSE, "The End"!!
Great pictures Bill, and yes your display at the past OGCA was indeed "awesome'...nice job !!
Re: Ruger RSSE, "The End"!!
Any idea what these sold for at the time of issue? Wonder about present day dollars for comparable work?
Re: Ruger RSSE, "The End"!!
Bill, Would it be possible to persuade you to post a couple of detail shots of #100718, showing the engraving on the upper barrel and the L/H recoil shield? Even after going through the book on Jerred's work, I did not find a clear detail shot of those areas on the later group of Single Sixes.
Thanks,
Thanks,

I believe JERRED was paid about $25 dollars per gun.....RocDoc wrote:Any idea what these sold for at the time of issue? Wonder about present day dollars for comparable work?
I believe WBR complained he could not afford that much

These were sent to Jerred in the "white" and returned the same.....the factory did the final finish...RR

Nice stuff Bill. Thanks for sharing. Yes, 5100 is a prize in itself. Still a bunch of engraved guns out there not accounted for. You never know when you will run into one at a show.

Dandzivi, I am so sorry that I did not pick up on your request earlier. I took a few for you , not the best since I was inside but maybe they will help you out. Can take more later if you need them.

Wow Bill
That Spanish is really fine. And I agree with Lee.... that backstrap is stunning.
