New member introduction section

Post by Charlie1022 »

Just an idea! Who all would like to see a new a section for new members to introduce themselves? I think this may help break the ice to help new members get involved. They could tell us what they like to collect and what they might need for their collection. This could help them find items for their collection from members who just might have an extra one hiding in the safe or know where there might be one.

Seems like a great idea. I would like to see something that at least tells the 'newbie' to lets us know where they are located. We wouldn't need an address as such but the general area, IE , city, town, whatever. That way if any other member is nearby they could possibly get FTF.

How about a bulk email to all members from time to time to make sure they are aware of any news like the new members topic? Is there a good way to advertise to a broad market to make the gun world more aware of us and what we do and to invite new people to check us out?
