Single Six F latgate serial number 8383, engraved by Charles Jerred, but not one of the factory engraved guns. My guess is that this one was done soon after the engraving project for Ruger was finished. It has a similar pattern as the later factory guns, and a little more embellishment..engraved screw heads (all 8), and engraved base pin latch. Came with factory walnut, I added the factory stags..

Wow, that's a beauty and love those stags. It is great to have one engraved by the man who engraved the factory RSSs to reside with your factory engraved guns and a great addition to your collection.
Thanks for sharing this one with us.

Beautiful job.
Re: Jerred engraved flatgate
If you would care to, how did you authenticate the "after the factory pgm ended" engraving by CJ?
Re: Jerred engraved flatgate
I have no concrete proof, just going by the pattern and initials on top of the barrel..have tried to contact Jerred Jr, with no sucess..
Would like to know who bought the ledger!

Thanks! I understand.......When I contacted Herb about a 22 std auto, probably a sample gun for WBR, he was not cordial and told me to spend the 5K and see if it was in the ledger.........I hung up.
